Nicky graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at St. Lawrence College, Kingston Campus, in 2005. She completed the registration exam that summer to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Nicky was born and raised in Owen Sound, and is happy to be working in her home town. She has been at the Owen Sound Veterinary Clinic since May 2008. Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, her son, Reid, and their dog, Mavrick. Mavrick a high energy boxer lab cross keeps the cats Ray & Indy on their toes at home. Nicky & Mavrick enjoy many of the walking trails Grey Bruce has to offer, as well as the few beaches where Mav can swim in the area.
